We now have student schedules in. They are in the schedule box in the Main Office.

All Faculty: there will be a sign up sheet for chaperoning the Homecoming Dance in the Staff Lounge. Come hang out with the coolest kids in town!

Tickets are on Sale Monday through Thursday only during lunch. No tickets will be sold after 4:30 Thursday.

Attention: Students

Haven’t bought your yearbook yet? In honor of Homecoming- this week only- you can buy a book at a discounted rate. That’s right Guilford- buy your yearbook for only $55 in room 151, before 1^st hour. This special price in only good through this Friday. So hurry in now! You will never regret purchasing this award winning book.

Seniors- If you would like to order a class picture, you have until today to turn in your money to the Main Office. Photo’s will be ready in 2-3 weeks.

If you had an ID picture taken last week- pick up your ID in the Student Attendance Office sometime during your day. Remaining ID pictures will be taken during lunches today.

Another big week for college visits. Guilford is hosting Iowa State on Tuesday, St. Ambrose on Wednesday and University of Illinois-Springfield on Thursday.

Looking forward for the week starting September 29^th, we will have Marquette University, Monmouth College, Illinois Wesleyan, Kent State, Saint Norbert, Northern Illinois University, and Northland College at Guilford.

Please remember to sign up 24 hours in advance in the Counseling Office.

Do you have any pictures that captured great & exciting things you did over the summer? Want to share them in the yearbook? Bring pictures to room 151 during 1^st hour or before school. There is no cost to have these summer pictures included. Bring pictures to room 151 by Friday, September 26^th.

Juniors and Sophomores who want to sign up for the PSAT given here at Guilford on October 18^th need to turn in their reservations by Wednesday, September 24^th in the Counseling Office.

The school nurse wants to remind all 9^th graders and students new to Rockford schools that they must turn in a health exam and shot record to the nurse’s office. They will not be allowed to attend school after October 15^th. No exceptions!

On October 6^th Purdue University and on October 27^th University of Wisconsin at Platteville are offering one day programs for women who are interested in engineering.

The season for college fairs has returned. On October 8^th RVC is playing host to over 150 colleges. On Saturday, October 25^th the National College Fair arrives in Chicago and on Sunday, October 26^th it moves to Milwaukee. You may pick up information from Mrs. Pauley in the Career Center, room 116 and at the Counseling Center.
