Grades will be in your mailboxes today, October 22^nd. They are due by 9am on Tuesday, October 28^th.

Students

There are now 2 rooms for detention. If your last name starts with the letters A-L you should report to room 109. If your last name starts with the letters M-Z you should report to room 108. Please remember that failure to attend detention will result in out of school suspension.

Are you human? Do you like supporting important causes? If so, come to Guilford’s very own Gay Straight Alliance on Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:30 in room 236. Hope to see you there October 30^th.

The next Gay Straight Alliance meeting has been moved to Wednesday, October 22^nd, because of group pictures. Please meet in the Auditorium when school gets out on Wednesday. We’ll meet on Thursday again next week, October 30^th.

We have a Northern Illinois University Convocation Center trivia question this week. It is for 2 tickets to see CMT on Tour with Jason Aldean & special quest Lady Antebellum on November 1^st.

The question is: How many points was a touchdown worth in 1911?

Submit your answers in the ballot box located in the Main Office. All answers must be turned in by Friday, October 24^th.

Colleges & technical schools coming to Guilford in October include Drake, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandizing, Loras, Lake Forest, Rasmussen, SIU-Edwardsville & Educators of Beauty. Juniors & Seniors may sign up 24 hours in advance in the Counseling Office.

The National College fair will be in Chicago & Milwaukee this coming weekend. Stop by Navy Pier on Saturday, October 25^th or Milwaukee on Sunday, October 26^th to visit with over a hundred colleges from all over the United States. See Mrs. Pauley in room 116 for more information.

Hey Vikings! Picture Retake Day is this Friday, October 24^th. If you were absent for picture day or you need a retake, Friday is your last chance! Picture packets are available in the Main Office.
