Seize the Day

Purpose

Carpe Diem has been in existence for the past twelve years. It was the dreamchild of Booster Board parents Mr. Eugene Berthusen and Mr. William Coole. They wanted to create a program that would give students an incentive for academic success.

After presenting their idea at a faculty meeting, the Guilford staff embraced the concept and Carpe Diem was born. This student incentive program is made up of parents and teachers. Carpe Diem is based on the belief that when parents and teachers work together, students will succeed.

2008 - 2009 Activities

In recognition of student accomplishment, Carpe Diem will distribute prizes on the following days:

In appreciation for GHS faculty, Carpe Diem will host a complimentary dinner:

In appreciation for GHS administrative assistants, Carpe Diem will host a luncheon:

April 24^th: Administrative/Secretaries Lunch
