Booster Club Welcomes You to the 2008-2009 School Year!

On behalf of the entire Guilford Booster Club, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you - the students, parents and staff of Guilford High School. Booster Club is a volunteer organization proudly serving the Guilford community through special events, promotions and fundraising initiatives which help support the school's academic and athletic programs.

It is my pleasure to acquaint you with Guilford Booster Club and our mission to "Make a Difference". Over the past several years, Booster Club's fundraising efforts have resulted in annual appropriations in excess of $38,000 being given back to the school. These funds are used by school coaches and faculty to purchase team equipment, uniforms and teaching aids such as in-class audio-visual equipment and reference materials.  

The money that is raised throughout the school year is accomplished through various fundraisers, special events and promotions that contribute significantly to the quality of the school experience for both students and staff. It is the continued support by Guilford families, staff, and the many volunteers, that help create and sustain our growth and success.

You can be a part of the difference by becoming a Booster Club Member and help us grow our membership by encouraging others to join. Here's just a few other ways to support Booster Club in an effort to give back thousands of dollars to the school each year in support of academics and athletics.

·         Support Concessions during home games

·         Purchase Spirit Wear, school decals and other merchandise items

·         Attend Dances: Father/Daughter, Mother/Son

·         Order from Market Day

·         Support Special Events: Moonlight Bowling, Guilford Games and Garage Sale

·         Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer!

Booster Club also supports school clubs such as Carpe Diem and National Honor Society and sponsors: Spirit Night, Sports Recognition Nights, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and Senior Memories and Reflections.

By working together, we can continue the tradition of enriching the academic, athletic and overall educational experience of our students. We look forward to another fun, exciting and successful year!
