Exxon Awards Grant

A Grant of $500 was awarded to the Roosevelt Mathematics Department by Exxon/Mobil. The money will be used to purchase mathematics manipulatives and software. A key component to improving math skills for Roosevelt students is addressing the students' learning styles. The new materials purchased through this grant will aid our students in learning by using these hands-on manipulatives. The computer software will provide our students an avenue to improve mathematics skills while developing proficiency in technology. The addition of these products will give the students a more motivating way to learn and practice their math skills.
