Rockford EVEN START serves:
Families who are enrolled in adult education and have children ages birth to 8 years in the Rockford Public Schools.
Parents by helping them support their child's learning and success in school.
   
EVEN START staff provide:
Assistance with adult education goals.
Support for parents as their child's first teacher.
Parent-child "hands-on" learning activities.
Assistance to parents in self-development.
Parenting classes.

Assistance to parents in writing Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) to identify family goals.
Ideas and activities to support reading and learning together.
Home School skills in budgeting, time management, and "how to's" of getting a job, etc.
Help in linking with community resources.
Support for parents as children move into school.

Support for parents as they move into the work force.
